Purple and Green Dragonfly Bedding

It’s hard to wait until spring to dress the bed in a pretty purple and green dragonfly bedding set. Some decorators believe that we should update teenage girls’ bedrooms according to the seasons of the year. And then there are those who prefer to ignore what Mother Nature may have in mind and utilize their own decorating ideas by keeping their bedroom décor as light and airy as possible even when there are icicles are hanging from the eaves of the house.

I can find something to love about every season and love to decorate the rooms of my home accordingly, but I must confess that I tend to rush airing out my springtime comforter set and decorations every now and again. At the very least, my favorite purple dragonfly bedding set is fluffed and ready to use by the time the first crocuses make their appearance. And as we know, there are many years when these colorful flowers push their way forward through a light dusting of snow.

We have to wait until much later for the butterflies and dragonflies to occupy our gardens. But it won’t hurt to begin enjoying our purple and green dragonfly bedding sets a few weeks or even a few months before we have our first sighting of the real thing when we venture outdoors.

Early spring is one of the best times to organize our closets and kick off that decorating project. So, why not make use of the bright sunshine and perfect temperatures to paint the walls an exciting shade of lime green and hang some cute wall decorations that will look fabulous as a background for your purple dragonfly bedding? At the very least make the best of the transitional time between late winter and early spring to put a fresh coat of white paint on the crown moldings or chair rail so that your teenage girl’s bedroom is fresh and clean.
There’s nothing like a round of deep cleaning to clear the cobwebs and lift your sprits.

If you will be using the same set of purple and green dragonfly bedding from years past, add some new throw pillows or some colorful dragonfly sheets to update the comforter set and give it a new look. Toss a pretty area rug on the floor next to the bed and decorate your lamp’s old shade or design a new one with stenciled dragonflies or stickers. These are just a few purple and green decorating ideas that are cheap, easy and just as appropriate for use in dragonfly nursery themes as they are in a teenage girl’s bedroom.
