My client's daughter has insisted that I find some girls horse bedding sets for her to pick from for an upcoming bedroom makeover. Having decorated more than a few cowgirl bedrooms in the past few years alone, I am no stranger to the fact that many girls have an affection for barrel racing and rodeos and must confess to enjoying a day watching riding competitions and races myself from time to time.

Getting back to the issue of finding teenage girls horse bedding sets and comforters, the problem that I am facing is finding fabrics that include horsey stuff with color. I need a comforter set that will appeal to the decorative taste of a teenage girl. Meaning, this young lady (pre-teen or tween) was too old for rocking horse or carousel horse bedding but did not want a bedroom decorated in a style that was too masculine with nothing but tans and browns in the color scheme. And unfortunately wild horses don't come in a very broad range of colors.

So far, I've collected pictures of comforter with a stampede of rust color horses on a field of black and silver and a less lively set that has a light blue sky over a herd of paints that is a bed in a bag set. The first set that I mentioned could be the inspiration piece for a very sophisticated bedroom design where the second set is more of a traditional western girls horse bedding set.

I feel that I need one more set before I can make a presentation and work up my design board so today will be spent searching through the mall, catalogs and online. Keep your fingers crossed that I find something really cool today because I don't believe that the girls horse bedding sets that I've found so far are what we need.
