Pink and black damask bedding may be a little bit more of a challenge to accessorize than black and white but what can I say, I needed something something fun to work on. So, pardon me if I welcome the opportunity to dabble in elegance from time to time. After several decorating projects where I worked with that particular monochromatic color scheme, I was ready for something a little more jazzy or at the very least, different.



And I have found that figuring out how to decorate a girl's bedroom with a pink and black damask bedding set can be rather interesting. One fact that revealed itself to me is how one would go about extending the life of the comforter set that might have been originally intended for a tween's bedroom.

Teenage girls might not be as receptive to demure black and pink hearts tied with satin ribbons as a preteen. But if you replaced the more immature wall decorations with dramatic chandelier stickers or scatter some pink and black stars or even skulls to give the bedroom an edge, that pink and black damask bedding set might be a keeper for a few more years.
