Girls have gone wild for new frog bedding sets. I know you are thinking that frogs are for boys. To those decorators that are a step behind in kids’ bedroom decor, it’s practically a tradition that froggy falls into the same category as snips and snails and puppy dog tails.
That school of thought was before froggies became fairy princesses and ballerinas. Not to say that they can’t still be seen in boy’s bedrooms dressed up as royal princes as well as the plain old garden variety green frog. The message is that whatever style of boy or girls bedroom decoration that you desire, it’s perfectly acceptable to dress an amphibian up to play a part in the design.
Frog bedding and comforter sets are not only free to feature frogs in tableaus taking active part in roles that they are not naturally suited for; they don’t have to be green. Decorators and manufacturers have joined forces and are taking liberties with pond frog’s activities as well as their natural complexions.
It seems that they will do anything to get the color scheme that they want. Therefore we see pink and purple frog bedding sets with gold and silver frog pillows on the bed that match the crowns that are common to the prince and princess frogs that are so popular.
It’s my opinion that a green frog looks fantastic in a ballerina tutu and the number of baby frog bedding sets for the nursery that are being sold would indicate that I am not alone. And we have all read the stories about the frog prince and the princess who kissed him. But who would have ever dreamed that someone would invent a female counterpart?
Would you like to take a guess as to what age the kids are that are buying frog bedding? Would you say that baby frog or toddler bedding would be the extent of it? If those are your guesses, you would be wrong because queen size frog bedding is as much in demand as twin size comforters.
Those little froggies are now a part of any kid’s castle or little girl’s ballet. Children of all ages now have an opportunity to enjoy a bedroom filled with frog decorations and accessories from top to bottom.
