Bedding Obsession Buy Pink For Girls

Parents who the girls know that when you try to buy the leaves, is a color and again, this color is pink. There is an obsession in Western culture to buy products from bedding to toys in pink. Sometimes it can be frustrating when it comes to finding the leaves of different degrees. This article examines the growing conviction that the color is too closely linked with the girls and how this could have a negative impact.

The history of gender and color

In the 1900s, the color of the rose was actually seen as a masculine color in contrast to the female with young children often dress her. The color is stronger than the blue, it is now often used in products for children. In contrast, the color blue was considered a girl who felt lighter and more beautiful. Exactly what prompted the change in color between the sexes is not clear. However, it seems that what happened when Adolf Hitler ordered the classification of homosexuals. Those who believed that the Nazis could be "cured" were sent to special camps marked with a pink triangle on their hands to represent their "femininity."

BLACK GIRLS BEDDING

Tommy Hilfiger Girls Beach Bedding Black Tropical Pineapple Print Comforter bedspread duvet cover Set

SEE MORE HERE
!

In all my bedroom decorating endeavors, I've never been overly impressed with black girls bedding sets. Solid black comforters and bedspreads just seemed to clash with (most, but we won't talk about the goth girls) my clients' teen and tween girls sunny, cheerful personalities. Black faux fur and microsuede bedding sets have a tendency to overpower even the brightest accent colors and decorations and absorb all of the natural as well as the artificial lighting the girls' rooms.

But I may have found a black girls bedding set that will satisfy a young girl's need for dark colored bedding. Granted, this set of Tommy Hilfiger girls bedding is not solid black but it does have a black background which should count for something. The tropical print fabric removes or at the very least offsets the dark color and makes for a very exotic bedding set. In fact, the dark black really makes those tropical flowers, leaves and pineapples stand out. After seeing so many pictures of bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and every other room in the home covered in pineapples from back in the 1980s, I never dreamed I would recommend a pineapple print fabric. But I have learned that when decorating it's best never to say never!

ZEBRA PRINT BEDDING

zebra print bedroom wall painting stripes decorations decor teen girl tween decorating ideas

SEE MORE HERE!

The bedroom wall that you see in the picture is not the best choice to complement zebra print bedding! Zebra stripes are cool, that goes without saying, but I want you to study the photo carefully and then close your eyes and imagine it beside a queen size zebra bedding set.

That is the best example ever of a decorating faux pas where too much of a good thing is in evidence. The most stunning set of green, purple, hot pink or blue zebra print comforter set would be totally eclipsed by large zebra stripes painted on the walls.

If you must have an accent wall in your bedroom, consider painting it in a funky, bright color that will make your bedding set stand out rather than battle with the zebra print bedding for attention.

It's obvious that the bold size of those stripes in the wall painting technique would completely overcome the teen girls bedding and the entire bedroom would be the ultimate loser.

BOHO CHIC BEDDING

Funky, Colorful Bohemian Bedroom Decor

GO HERE to SEE MORE!

Funky, Wild n Crazy Colorful Crystal Chandelier

Boho chic bedding can be pricey but WHO CARES when you get lucky and find an amazing crystal chandy like this one for LESS THAN $10? It's a fact that funky bedding that looks like it came from the thrift store can cost a bundle. The truth of the matter is that authentic, vintage Bohemian style bedroom decor and bedding is very hard to find...especially the bedding.

On the rare occasion, I find some tasty quilts and comforters in a musty old trunk at an estate sale that require nothing but a few stitches to replace a quilted section or two and a good cleaning to freshen them up. But after you figure in the time it takes me to preview the goods before the auction and the actual sale; the real stuff becomes pretty darn expensive.

It's just a fact of life that there aren't many ways to cut corners in getting good looking, Bohemian style bedding that is in good new or used condition. So, I really had an "AHA" moment when I saw this funky, light fixture that was so cheap. Even if you can't get cheap Boho Chic bedding, inexpensive bedroom decorations and light fixtures help to take some of the sting out of a makeover's final price tag. Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie both have nice selections but to get good deals, (once again) I have to spend a lot of my spare time watching for sales on discontinued bedding.

Planning a Kitchen Design

Kitchen can be regarded as the heart or center of the house. the kitchen was usually the first place we stopped to sit when we entered the house.

Kitchen not only used for cooking is also a place to store food, but the kitchen can also be utilized preschool children to play while their parents cooked.

Children will often be in the kitchen for working on school work there with her parents who request assistance while prepare dinner

Interesting from a modern kitchen is that it remains to be seen practically any style with equipment available.
to design the kitchen is in fact not a simple process but logical.

Following steps if you want to design a kitchen

  1. Planning a Kitchen Design:
  2. Appliances what they are the basics of how they work and some of the models available.
  3. Plumbing fittings, the faucets, boiling units, dishwashing and garbage disposal.
  4. Lighting, How to create mood in the kitchen, how to make sure the lighting is correct and efficient and how to make sure it’s attractive.
  5. Flooring. The area that gets the most wear and tear and abuse every day, what are your options, timber, vinyl, stone, concrete, carpet, cork. There are a lot of possibilities but which?
  6. Wall finishes. What looks great and is impervious to steam, grease, food spills and yet can be cleaned without staining or deteriorating. We look at a whole lot of options here from tiling to papers to laminates and special paints to mention a few.
  7. Electrical requirements such as the amount of outlets needed for all the appliances that a modern kitchen requires, safety aspects, aesthetics, and planning the positions of these items.
  8. Cabinetry, here is a very large subject. This section helps you choosing different finishes, planning the cabinets layout and why, drawers that have to go into them and where the hardware that goes on the cabinets from self closing hush drawers to handles and hinges.
  9. Storage. This is an endless area with manufacturers coming up with new and innovative store solutions all the time. Here you can see what’s available.
 Planning a Kitchen Design:
  1. Defining the space, which includes either measuring up, and noting the position of the existing services, windows and doors of planning from the start with the architect on how you want the space laid out.
  2. Designing the room's layout to get the appliances, work tops and cupboards where you want them.
  3. Confirming that layout and the services that are needed.(This includes lighting).
  4. Confirming the finishes that you require for the bench tops, the exterior of the cabinetry and the interior of the cabinetry, the flooring, the walls, ceiling and window treatments
